We joined onto the BlueSky Acatenango hike after a friend we’d made earlier in our travels had told us he had booked with them and for us to join. We are so glad that we did as BlueSky were fantastic! The guides were absolutely brilliant, great at looking after everyone, making sure we were safe, helping when anyone struggled with the altitude, and generally just great to spend time with and good senses of humour. The briefing before was very comprehensive, and the equipment was decent (and well provided as definitely needed). We had everything we needed and were in great hands from start to finish! The hike itself is incredible, seeing Fuego constantly erupting was unreal, and the summit was magical. It’s a challenge and tough at times but so worth it and loads of fun! I’d recommend BlueSky to anyone doing this hike and we really liked their ethics and working with local women and general community too.Thanks again. Pete & Weezy
