The so-called 'tap on/ tap off' system was not explained to me which resulted in me paying twice as much for single tickets for a period of time, to the extent that I would've been better off paying the usual price for returns. I was previously given the incorrect change by a driver and shouted at by them when I pointed out the error, so Bluestar is without doubt the worst bus company that I have ever used (and I use them in various regions around the country ie. Arriva, Redline, etc). I have not encountered the 'tap on/ tap off system anywhere else, indicating that it is certainly not for the benefit of the customer.
