I now have two EB3A power banks to use for charging needs during electrical power loss. I live in New Orleans and between tropical storms, hurricanes, microbursts, and an aging and not maintained power grid- losing power is an expectation, not a surprise. I keep the EB’s charged year round as I never know when I’ll lose power but during storm prep I keep them at a wall outlet to top up. I currently have one 100W solar panel for recharging but would like to upgrade both panel and units for more watt hours when I can afford to. Having two units has helped me cycle through charging computer, phones, rechargeable fans, and power packs while having one hooked up (and charging something) to the solar panel. The dream, of course, is to be able to one day afford a big enough system to run the fridge and a couple of outlets as losing power in New Orleans means possible days not just hours until restoration. (Was almost 4 weeks after hurricane Ida before my neighborhood power was restored.) The EB controls are easy to use out of the box, plus the smart phone app makes it easy to monitor. Love how quiet the system is and how portable the units are. Would be great for camping or festival use. I will always need more watt hours but for the price, usability, and size, these have been a great component of my storm prepping.
