The auto address finder changes my shipping address to the default one at the top of the drop-down menu. I didn't notice it had altered after I manually entered my address. After completing my order, I realized the house number was incorrect and had reverted to the first option in the list, number 1. There is absolutely no way to change your shipping address on their website after placing an order, and canceling it requires emailing the support team. I quickly checked their FAQ, which indicated that this could be done by contacting support and submitting a ticket. I raised a ticket and emailed support within 3 minutes of placing my order at 11 PM. I anticipated a response today saying it was resolved, but that didn't happen. The staff don't seem to check tickets or support emails before shipping orders. It's unclear why they even have a ticketing or support system. While the company may have a good stock supply, their support staff's performance is lacking; it took over 8 hours after shipping my order for them to even open my support ticket. Their response was essentially "not our problem" since they don't check support tickets prior to shipping. I believe this is a form of misleading representation. They've effectively removed the ability to cancel or modify purchases on their website. Their FAQ insists you contact support and raise a ticket, but the support and tickets aren't monitored frequently enough, leaving customers in a bind. As many have noted, the company appears reliable until issues arise, and the recent influx of negative reviews suggests this is a common sentiment. My support ticket and order were created almost simultaneously—there are no excuses. If they can't check support tickets promptly, they need to improve their website to allow customers to cancel and modify orders online without relying on a ticket system entirely. Let's face it, they likely do this to maximize profits by preventing cancellations. These questionable practices will eventually backfire. The geek community is close-knit and dislikes unethical business methods. I used to spend hundreds each year at conventions, but they've lost a long-term customer over a minor £80 order and their unresponsive support team. I suspect others may feel similarly, given the recent reviews.
