She liked all the selections in the board and the way it was packaged with little notes - "Cheese to meat you."
We ate them as appetizers with Prosecco before dinner.
In September Labor Day weekend, I ordered the Boarderie Charcuterie for my brother who turned 53 years old. I saw this product on Instagram and decided to order one.... When ordered my brother received it in time. This Charcuterie was wrapped and packaged on ice. The gift arrived not damaged and when he opened his gift, he loved it!!! He loved the cheese candle and all the assorted treats to choose from. He was really impressed that his older, good-looking sister gave him a gift like this for his birthday... He enjoyed it with his pregnant wife and his son who is 11 years old. I highly recommend this gift.... Why??? Cause everyone like to eat for their Birthday!!! I will re-order again to family members that do matter in my life.... And the way you see it on Instagram or on any social platform will not disappoint.... Thank you for putting a smile on my brother’s face as he is in the "50" Club enjoying his life to the fullest!!! I highly recommend it!!!!! MARIAE
This is my third time ordering Boarderie! My guests always rave about the quality and variety of the cheese and other snacks. I will continue to order for parties at my home, or to bring to other's homes!
I would rate this as zero stars if it were an option. This year, I ordered my third board as a special surprise for my roommate on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, the delivery process was a disaster, and I reached out to the support team immediately. My large holiday board was supposed to arrive by the 24th, but they indicated it left their facility late on the 23rd. FedEx picked it up at 2:23 AM PST on the 24th, which made me realize it wouldn't arrive on time, given the distance from Florida to Washington. I had to make multiple inquiries and specifically request a refund for the $25 priority rate I paid. I also opted for $10 shipping insurance for potential issues. Although the board arrived in a nearby town with time to spare, all trucks had already left, causing my order to sit in a warehouse for roughly 36 hours before delivery. By then, the company had already opened a tracking ticket. When we finally opened the package, the two ice packs were only half frozen, and while the board felt cool, it wasn't in good shape. We noticed that the pepperjack cheese had dry, hard, and discolored edges, as if it had been left out too long. All the cutouts looked similar. My roommate was definitely unimpressed as we began to unwrap and taste the items. We found various cheeses with oily spots and dry patches, and everything appeared sweaty. I thought each item was vacuum sealed for safety, but they all had air inside. Although I had informed them that it was close to the expected delivery, it was clear the quality was off once we started eating. I didn't document every single piece that looked unappetizing, but many had to be trimmed to be edible. The instructions stated that proper storage would keep it fresh for about seven days after opening, but it already seemed 3-4 days old. This has wasted my time and money because I will have to discard the leftovers tomorrow. This was my third order, and my first time ordering a large holiday board. The first two orders went smoothly, but now they aren't responding to my communications or honoring their own insurance policy. According to their guidelines, it should be reshipped or fully refunded if it's more than 24 hours late. It should have been sent to FedEx by the 22nd for a timely delivery. Yes, I received a refund for the priority shipping, but they still made me wait to see if and when it would arrive and in what condition. This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. They need to uphold their own policies and stop blaming FedEx for delivery issues when the order didn't leave their facility on time. I doubt I will order from them again unless they take responsibility and resolve this matter.
My family received a large item for Christmas Eve, but most of it ended up being discarded. Even the teenagers found the meat unappealing, describing it as 'nasty.' I will not be ordering this again, as most of the cheeses did not suit our tastes.
I arranged for my board to be delivered yesterday to my son's in-laws, but it still hasn't arrived! This situation is quite embarrassing, and I'm really dissatisfied. I won't be ordering from this service again, even though I frequently shop with other companies.
The cheese I received was moldy just two days after it arrived. It's clear that the person handling the product at the packing facility did not maintain proper hygiene. I even have photo proof sent by my father-in-law showing the unacceptable quality for a cutting board that cost $250.
At this point, I might as well have a Boarderie subscription (kinda wish they had one). Every board I’ve ordered has been gorgeous, fresh, and filled with a surprising variety that somehow pleases every type of eater at the table. I love that they make me look like I have my life together when all I really did was open a box. Ten out of ten for presentation, flavor, and saving my sanity.
