I would rate this as zero stars if it were an option. This year, I ordered my third board as a special surprise for my roommate on Christmas Eve. Unfortunately, the delivery process was a disaster, and I reached out to the support team immediately. My large holiday board was supposed to arrive by the 24th, but they indicated it left their facility late on the 23rd. FedEx picked it up at 2:23 AM PST on the 24th, which made me realize it wouldn't arrive on time, given the distance from Florida to Washington. I had to make multiple inquiries and specifically request a refund for the $25 priority rate I paid. I also opted for $10 shipping insurance for potential issues. Although the board arrived in a nearby town with time to spare, all trucks had already left, causing my order to sit in a warehouse for roughly 36 hours before delivery. By then, the company had already opened a tracking ticket. When we finally opened the package, the two ice packs were only half frozen, and while the board felt cool, it wasn't in good shape. We noticed that the pepperjack cheese had dry, hard, and discolored edges, as if it had been left out too long. All the cutouts looked similar. My roommate was definitely unimpressed as we began to unwrap and taste the items. We found various cheeses with oily spots and dry patches, and everything appeared sweaty. I thought each item was vacuum sealed for safety, but they all had air inside. Although I had informed them that it was close to the expected delivery, it was clear the quality was off once we started eating. I didn't document every single piece that looked unappetizing, but many had to be trimmed to be edible. The instructions stated that proper storage would keep it fresh for about seven days after opening, but it already seemed 3-4 days old. This has wasted my time and money because I will have to discard the leftovers tomorrow. This was my third order, and my first time ordering a large holiday board. The first two orders went smoothly, but now they aren't responding to my communications or honoring their own insurance policy. According to their guidelines, it should be reshipped or fully refunded if it's more than 24 hours late. It should have been sent to FedEx by the 22nd for a timely delivery. Yes, I received a refund for the priority shipping, but they still made me wait to see if and when it would arrive and in what condition. This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. They need to uphold their own policies and stop blaming FedEx for delivery issues when the order didn't leave their facility on time. I doubt I will order from them again unless they take responsibility and resolve this matter.
