I bought an oil boiler on finance in around August 2022 and my experience at first was great. The salesman was very good and the boiler was installed quickly with no issues. However, following installation my water pressure was very low throughout the house and when I called them I was advised to contact a local plumber. As part of my purchase, I was informed both in writing and verbally that The Boiler Team would arrange to complete annual services and would contact me accordingly. When they didn't contact me after one year since installation was coming up I phoned them to enquire and was advised they were running behind, however, somebody would be in touch. Again, nobody got in touch and I phoned them a handful of times over a long period of time and the outcome was always the same (promise of contact to arrange and then no contact). In the end The Boiler Team confirmed a date for completion of annual service, I took a day off work and nobody turned up. It is now 2025 and still no annual service. I emailed a complaint, copying in every contact email I could find on their website and I received no response, and quite frankly I have given up trying to deal with them and have resolved to arrange this with another company/local engineer. It has been a really disappointing outcome to a promising start, especially as this part of the service (arrangement of annual servicing) was specifically discussed, and part of the reason why I decided to go with a company like this instead of just buying a boiler privately. Unfortunately, I will not be using this company again.
