I repeatedly, tried to book a flu vaccination online, but after many failed attempts, the online booking system wouldn't allow me to book any appointments. I called the telephone number on the booking system to ask for assistance and the customer service adviser very kindly booked the appointment for me. He then continued the conversation to tell me about other services Boots offer, such as the free hearing test. All was well until I received my mobile phone bill and found I had an additional charge of £13.73 for calling a premium number. On further investigation I was outraged to find it was the Boots vaccination help line. How disgusting of Boots to take advantage of their loyal customers by ripping them off and especially considering most of their customers booking a flu vaccination will be elderly or vulnerable.Update 24/11/25. Boots have cancelled my appointment two days prior to my vaccination with no explanation. Unbelievable!!
