I bought the Onyx Boox 4 air from the Europe shop. After a few weeks of use the device suddenly became faulty. It was completely unresponsive. It would not respond. There was no way to reset the device. I reached out to Boox and have been exchanging several emails. They seem to have a week-long of public holidays (which I have never heard of) and response was extremely slow. After weeks of chasing they eventually asked me to ship the device to Poland and asked me to indicate a value of $70 for customs. I used DPD to send the item. Dpd promptly returned the item to me as I didn't declare it to have battery. So now I am out of pocket with £35 but I accept that is my fault. Looking at alternatives there is no way really to ship this device without being taxed etc to the repair centre. I am really disappointed with Boox. I thought initially I had a great device but they have been very unhelpful. They won't swap the faulty device. Won't help really with arranging shipping or any supper as such. Just simply emails when they feel like responding. I wasted around £600 on a device that is now just a paper weight. I do not recommend Boox as a company. Please don't use them their service is rubbish and I do not recommend them at all to anyone.
