My 74-year-old mother arranged a basic boiler service for €169 and waited two months for the appointment. They canceled just a day before, in the middle of winter, leaving her without options. To complicate matters, the boiler broke during Christmas, requiring us to use heaters. She had to call customer care twice and wait four weeks for a refund, only to be told that processing couldn't happen until her bill arrived. She was unaware she wasn't even a customer of the provider until I pointed it out, resulting in yet another call, with the refund taking an additional two weeks. This service is completely unacceptable!
