I am a complete novice in respect of investing, but over a good period of time reading the "Boring Money" blog, checking the website, and looking at the very comprehensive comparison charts, I have managed to build a profitable portfolio without having to pay a FA. (good job I put the "a" in) I now understand most of the terminology, and watching the webinar on Bitcoin / Cryptocurrency I even understand the basics of what is going on, not that I would dabble.Thank you all at Boring Money for keeping it simple, and some of the advice via the website.
Exceptional and largely without precedent. Holly and her team seek to demystify finance and investing, allowing the everyday investor to make better decisions without parting with a penny. Altruism at its apogee? Yes, but I sincerely hope the Boring Money team can make it financially viable - I invested in their ability to do so during the latest fundraising campaign and I would encourage others to do the same if they seek further funding. I absolutely love the tone of Holly's blog - you know she is not sitting in a double-height, glass-clad, Canary Wharf office, earning a high 7-figure salary, outsourcing the care of her kids and hubby to the lesser-paid - she lives life, to the full, as most of us do...warts and all.
