Terrible quality and terrible customer service

The quality of the dress I bought (the Metallic party dress) was more akin to buying something from AliExpress or Shein. The sequins were glued on, and within an hour of putting the dress on, before I even left the house, the sequins were rubbing off. I have no idea how this company purports to make clothing for raves and dancing, when you would be sweating, dancing, and brushing up against people, when the outfits start falling apart the minute you put them on without any vigorous movement. You would think for £180!!! (plus more for customs charges outside of the EU) that the sequins would be sewn on. The sequins that did stay glued on started losing their colour, so everything else I was wearing is now covered in pink, and the remaining sequins on the dress are half silver. I reached out to customer service who just replied with “the dresses are delicate as stated on the website” and offered to send some more sequins, I assume for me to pluck off each remaining sequin and hand glue back on myself? If I wanted to create my own DIY outfit I could have done the same thing for a lot cheaper in the first place. I regret not just buying one of the many cheaper knock off alternatives - I expect they are the exact same quality. This is still not yet resolved and customer service will also go days without responding to me. Overall I have found Born in Stockholm very rude and hard to deal with. I will add that I was unaware of the additional customs charges that would be levied outside of the EU (my fault I guess) but when I queried with Born in Stockholm as I wasn’t expecting an additional £60 charge on top of my already very expensive dress they repeatedly (and rudely) told me it was my governments fault. I’m not from Europe or the UK at all, and have just recently moved here so I haven’t followed Brexit or any of the consequences, so no idea why they think that this is somehow mine or my governments fault - in any case, they were going to charge me an outrageous over £60 fee if I did not pay the customs fee of over £60 and caused the item to be returned, so I figured I would just pay it and enjoy one of the most expensive dresses I’ve ever bought. However it was then terrible quality after all that. Cannot in good conscience recommend this company.
