My experience is made great by the kindness of dog owner and her willingness for me to have her dog . We are building up quite nice rapport. It just makes me feel better to see her dog after losing my 16yr old man, my husband and I enjoy her visits so much
I am now a proud dog borrower of a 9 month old English bulldog. I am unable to make a full commitment to a dog at home full time due to working away from home a lot but being able to borrow this lovely dog when I am home made it possible to have the joy of having a dog when having one of my own is not possible at this time in my life.

After covid I was very depressed and anxious. Thanks to BMD I met a dog who has changed my life for the better.
I tell people all the time about BDM, especially if you love dogs and are not able to have or afford one. It also gives you the opportunity to find out about different breads etc.
I couldn't recommend BorrowMyDoggy more! We lost our dog Django last year but aren't in a position to get another one for a while. We joined BorrowMyDoggy and now walk a huge Saint Bernard called Ginny who our kids LOVE. We literally borrow her as our own - we walk her and then take her home and she lies on the sofa for a cuddle. It gives us the perfect snippet of dog time!

Upon registering, I immediately saw dogs nearby on the app, including some I recognized! A few owners reached out for help with their pets, and I eventually matched with a local dog. This initiative is fantastic, providing all the benefits like cuddles, exercise, and fresh air without any obligations! I've shared it with many people.
This platform is a fantastic idea! Due to various reasons, I can't have my own dog. It took about 8 weeks to find a match, but since meeting my dog and its owner, it's been a wonderful experience. Walking Penny has greatly benefited my physical and mental well-being, allowing me to enjoy the countryside with this lovely dog.
After exploring the platform and confirming that there were numerous interested individuals in our area, we decided to sign up. Initially, we had some people reach out, and we also contacted potential 'dog borrowers' for our small spaniel. However, after that, communication dropped off completely. We followed up with nearly 10 individuals who had previously shown interest in meeting our dog, but received no replies. We're uncertain about the cause, but our experience so far has left us quite disappointed.
After a full year of membership, I've yet to find a single suitable match. This has been a waste of money. I suggest reaching out to friends, family, and local community members, as they were the ones who supported me during a tough time when I couldn't walk my dogs. This service relies on having active members nearby registered with the platform, and for me, my £48 would have been better spent elsewhere.
