Appreciation for products overshadowed by a negative experience

I genuinely admire the products. However, a disappointing experience has made me hesitant to purchase again. A gift from my elderly father turned out to be the wrong cap that didn’t fit. After returning it, the credit was only sent to the original email, leaving my father unable to locate it. We have limited time to use the credit, which has led us to dispute the charge and reconsider future purchases. Other services handle gifts without issues, while all I hear now are excuses about customer care. This has left me feeling quite frustrated.
