I was buying a gift and when i got to the cash desk, the cashier informed me that the only way to be able to exchange the gift by the gift owner is if the tag remains on the item. On the tag there is obvioulsy the price, so i explained that i cant offer a gift with its price on. she suggested to cover it with a white stciker which after trying it would still make the price visible. I asked if we can cover the prcie with black ink (sharpie for example) -the cashier replied that if i do so, and the gift owner comes back to exchange it, they wont let him becuase they need the prcie to be showing and to be intact so that they can resell it. I asked, in this case, since the bar code is showing, why dont u print another tag before reputting in sale, then I honestly had to stop the conversation because i couldn't be the one that does suggestions on an internal process. she explained that they dont reprint, and if i keep the tags with me, the owner can let me know that they want to exchange and i can go get the gift and come exchange it myself... in a nutshell, I personally do not find it ok that we cant gift an item from bouclair unless we show the price to the gift owner, this is not ok. I ended up changing the gift, I had an amount in a card and I wanted to use the money. But i am really surprised with the gifting process.
