Overall, the experience was positive; there is considerable potential for improvement. The community is wonderful—many like-minded individuals coming together to educate their children abroad. We participated in two three-month sessions, one in the fall and another in the spring. Regarding the staff, there was a notable difference between the two sessions. The initial session was somewhat disorganized, with changes in staff that affected our experience, but we still appreciated the community. The staff during the spring session was exceptional. They were highly engaged, and numerous exciting activities were organized. The educational aspect presented challenges as well. In the fall, the small class sizes made it manageable to accommodate various learning levels. However, in the spring, larger class sizes became an issue. Our kindergartener was placed in a class with second graders reading advanced materials, which created a mismatch in learning levels. We felt the school struggled to adapt to these differences. Additionally, housing arrangements were problematic, with inconsistent policies regarding who could book accommodations outside the program, which seemed unfair. Moreover, costs for the program have been steadily increasing. Despite these challenges, we would absolutely choose this program again because we believe in its mission, and we understand that all new initiatives face hurdles. The community we formed and the friendships we developed made the experience worthwhile.
