Overall, the experience was positive; there is considerable potential for improvement. The community is wonderful—many like-minded individuals coming together to educate their children abroad. We participated in two three-month sessions, one in the fall and another in the spring. Regarding the staff, there was a notable difference between the two sessions. The initial session was somewhat disorganized, with changes in staff that affected our experience, but we still appreciated the community. The staff during the spring session was exceptional. They were highly engaged, and numerous exciting activities were organized. The educational aspect presented challenges as well. In the fall, the small class sizes made it manageable to accommodate various learning levels. However, in the spring, larger class sizes became an issue. Our kindergartener was placed in a class with second graders reading advanced materials, which created a mismatch in learning levels. We felt the school struggled to adapt to these differences. Additionally, housing arrangements were problematic, with inconsistent policies regarding who could book accommodations outside the program, which seemed unfair. Moreover, costs for the program have been steadily increasing. Despite these challenges, we would absolutely choose this program again because we believe in its mission, and we understand that all new initiatives face hurdles. The community we formed and the friendships we developed made the experience worthwhile.
The community we've created in every cohort is truly wonderful. The educational environment is exceptional for the children. They acquire a lot of knowledge and appear to gain more confidence with each session. Ultimately, it's the people and the sense of community that make this experience truly remarkable.
The local team was fantastic, but we had issues with the overall global strategy team. The concept is excellent and the community is wonderful, yet the pricing for housing was unreasonable and the strategy seemed unfair. We were informed that we couldn't book separately as those spaces were reserved for the first bookers, while later bookings were allowed to do so. Given the amount we paid, the booking service and arrival experience were far from satisfactory.
We're about to embark on our sixth location with this program, which speaks volumes. It has truly opened the world for our family. The staff, the education, and the community have transformed our travel experiences. We can't imagine this journey without them.
The community created by this program is invaluable for our family. From accommodations to coworking spaces and educational opportunities for the kids, we've enjoyed every cohort (Italy, Spain, Greece) and look forward to more. We've made wonderful friends from around the globe as we embark on this unique life journey together. I recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to the everyday grind while exploring incredible international destinations.
Having completed two cohorts, we look forward to our third next year! Overall, it's a wonderful program that allows families to explore global destinations while children learn in diverse cultures. Some cohorts are managed better than others, particularly regarding the educational center, and we hope for improvements that make the experiences more enriching rather than just larger groups.
