I purchased an elite baseball vending machine for $100 (10,000 gems in Boxed.GG currency) and the card I pulled was a Pokemon card! I reported it figuring it would be a quick fix because of the absurdity of putting Pokemon cards in baseball packs. I was 100% wrong. Kevin from Loot Labs has been my contact for remedy. Once they admitted they messed up, I simply asked for a refund of the 10,000 gems (not even my real money back) and Kevin refused. He said the Pokemon card I received is authentic and I can keep it. Except I don't collect Pokemon and I bought a baseball card. Kevin admitted they made the inexcusable error in the first place and then their instruction to me was to just deal with it. Additionally, the card I received was valued at roughly 7,000 gems and they outright refused to just refund the purchase. The company relies on the public trust but puts Pokemon cards in baseball packs and refuses to fix their errors even after they admit they completely screwed up. Their behavior feels like the company might be a scam or at the very least they possess the power to scam you at any time by "accidentally" putting Pokemon cards in baseball packs and then refusing to make it right. It is very difficult to trust an online collectibles company in general and episodes like this make it practically impossible to. They were presented with a simple problem that had a simple solution and they refuse to just do the right thing and fix their error. Awful experience.
