be careful if the card goes up in value when it is in your inventory they will charge you the value change to be able to get the card you won. they wanted to charge me $38 to get the card I already paid to win because it went up
I’ve been collecting trading cards for years, I must say im very pleased with the experience I’ve received from Boxed. No complaints at all, it’s been a very easy collecting and always shipped on time as promised. thank you for being a trustworthy resource.
Was really sceptical about it at first but tried my luck got some pretty decent pulls and tried my luck at getting them delivered to me, seeing the message that says 5weeks to deliver or more I did think I was scammed but no they turned up way quicker then expected all in top loaders and very well packaged!! Highly recommend if you like a little bit of a gamble but dont want to feel like your wasting your money!
Dont waste your time you cant even verify a prepaid phone number because they think they are getting mass scammed. Plus ive seen on Better Business Bureau that people hadnt received very expensive cards multiple times. Just buy cards from pokecenter online when it restocks
I purchased an elite baseball vending machine for $100 (10,000 gems in Boxed.GG currency) and the card I pulled was a Pokemon card! I reported it figuring it would be a quick fix because of the absurdity of putting Pokemon cards in baseball packs. I was 100% wrong. Kevin from Loot Labs has been my contact for remedy. Once they admitted they messed up, I simply asked for a refund of the 10,000 gems (not even my real money back) and Kevin refused. He said the Pokemon card I received is authentic and I can keep it. Except I don't collect Pokemon and I bought a baseball card. Kevin admitted they made the inexcusable error in the first place and then their instruction to me was to just deal with it. Additionally, the card I received was valued at roughly 7,000 gems and they outright refused to just refund the purchase. The company relies on the public trust but puts Pokemon cards in baseball packs and refuses to fix their errors even after they admit they completely screwed up. Their behavior feels like the company might be a scam or at the very least they possess the power to scam you at any time by "accidentally" putting Pokemon cards in baseball packs and then refusing to make it right. It is very difficult to trust an online collectibles company in general and episodes like this make it practically impossible to. They were presented with a simple problem that had a simple solution and they refuse to just do the right thing and fix their error. Awful experience.
This is a complete waste of money. You end up spending a lot just to get something, and it feels like it just takes your money. I suggest you just keep buying packs and ripping them instead. Plus, it takes five weeks to get your cards shipped to you. Save your time and money!
This business employs bait and switch tactics and misrepresents free shipping for initial orders. I was compelled to buy extra digital currency to finalize my transaction and have reported this behavior to the appropriate authorities. They did not honor the promised free shipping, and the relevant information is only accessible through their AI support bot, with a 'real' representative also confirming or denying the service.
I've been a loyal customer for about two years, frequently purchasing boxes and gems when I could afford them. While I generally haven't faced many issues, it's been frustrating experiencing significant losses on vending machines and not hitting any big wins. Recently, I saved up a considerable amount of gems to buy a specific card that I really wanted. However, after I submitted my request, they canceled it the next day, claiming the card had been sold elsewhere for a lower price. This felt like a lack of integrity, especially since I've seen similar practices with other vendors. Instead of communicating with me about the cancellation, I was left in the dark until I inquired with customer service. The representative seemed indifferent, suggesting I should be satisfied with extra gems instead. Frustratingly, when I later requested to cancel another card purchase, they refused, likely because it was a card they struggled to sell. Despite my loyalty and the losses I've accepted on their platform, they showed no willingness to assist me when I expressed my dissatisfaction. Their response to my decision to stop using their service was dismissive, leaving me feeling undervalued as a customer.
This company pays for positive reviews, and it seems the platform allows them to remain. However, they are a scam. I lost 1.5k to them, and after that, they blocked me on all social media. I'm sharing my experience to prevent others from falling victim.
Initially, I had some doubts (due to past experiences with similar services), but the company exceeded my expectations with a quicker delivery than anticipated. I faced no issues redeeming the cards, which arrived in 'near mint' condition, protected in penny sleeves and hard cases. If you're contemplating a purchase, go for it! Just remember to do your own research.
