I have had a very bad experience. I stored a set of items (among which several boxes and a bike) for a few months, with the aim to eventually transport everything from The Netherlands to Spain. I arranged the pick up and transportation of all my items with an external agency, given I needed to move all my things to a different country. On the day of the pickup, Boxie24 couldn't find my bike. So, the delivery agency had to pickup everything else and leave. On the same day a few hours later they searched and found the bike in a different location. But it was too late for the delivery agency who had already left. I asked Boxie24 to pay a refund for the cost I would encounter to transport the bike to Spain. I know Boxie24 by policy only covers transportation within the country, but I had already paid a considerable amount of money to arrange the delivery to Spain and I didn't want to pay twice the same amount because of a mistake that was out of my control. Both the person via email and the agent on the phone were completely unhelpful. In particular, I found the person over the phone so rude. They kept telling me "you chose to transport all your things to Spain." Yes, I did, and I also paid for the service, which I wanted to pay once given how expensive it is. They offered me 50 euros refund, when the cost to transport all my things to Spain was 30 times that amount!! The guy over the phone did not offer me any alternative solution, nor the person over email. Completely useless and unfair. I still can't believe they would not offer a more decent solution for a mistake that was their responsibility. I highly discourage anyone to use this service.
UPDATE
The issue was only 'resolved' because of the kindness and flexibility of my external delivery driver, not because of Boxie24’s systems. Had the driver left and not been keen to pick up the bike on a different time, I would have faced massive additional costs for a mistake that was entirely on Boxie's side.
My review reflects the stress of being told an item is missing during an international move and the rude, dismissive attitude of the staff on the phone. A 50€ offer doesn't account for the cost for the delivery and the hours of crisis management I had to do from another country because the team couldn't locate at the time of pickup a bike that was supposedly just in the stall.
