Refusal to exchange a holiday gift

I thought there might be a holiday extension, so I emailed again asking about an exchange or credit note. They denied my request, claiming their holiday return policy only starts in December, even though many other retailers allow exchanges from November. The item is unworn and in perfect condition, yet they still refuse to help. I expressed how stressful and disappointing this experience has been, but it was ignored. I expected more consideration from a company that claims to be different. I recommend avoiding this brand and donating to a mental health charity instead, as they seem to prioritize profits over customer care.
