I purchased the 'Ergonomic Chair' based on all the great features they talk about on their website. And in all fairness, the chair is quite comfortable but it seems extremely cheaply built. Armrests rattle all the time even when they are supposed to be locked in position. There is only 1 bolt that secures them in place whereas one their competitors (Risedesk) uses 3 bolts for each armrest. I also ordered the headrest to go with my chair and that arrived damaged and without the screws. I contacted their support and this is where it went all downhill for me. Their customer service was abysmal. The person I talked to was very unhelpful and instead of apologizing for the damaged product and offering to send a replacement right away, (s)he directed me to this horrible online form to fill out and go through their claim process like I am dealing with government red tape or something. In the end I decided to return the chair instead of dealing with them. They charge $35 for returns even though pretty much all of their competitors have free 30 day returns. It seems like such a missed opportunity because I think they have a potentially very good product in their hands. Very good ideas but so badly and cheaply executed. Customer service is another layer of this unfortunate series of events that need to be fixed.
