The shoes I received had already been worn . Massive indents on the sole of the shoe / scuff marks on the toes , creases on the leather . The tissue paper in the box was crumpled up with brown dirt/ stains all over it .The box was damaged and the lid ripped in 2 places .Gotta send them back to be inspected and wait for a refund . Brantano were truly sorry the email said .No offer of anything as a good will gesture though and no personal touch or personal phone call as a first time customer .A simple offer of ‘ if you order again the postage is on us ‘ gesture would have been sufficient. I don’t expect £10-£20 off just a gesture would have demonstrated care and value for a new customer .
