I bought a pair of ( women's) Brasher Countrymaster boots in March this year. When I cleaned and reproofed them earlier this week ( as recommended by the vendor , Black's of Skipton) I discovered a significant hole in the lining of the upper heel area of one boot. I took them back to Black's today and was offered a full refund or replacement boots of my choice, at a discounted price. I chose another brand. I agree with other reviewers who say that the quality of Brasher boots has deteriorated since the takeover by Berghaus. My previous Brasher boots lasted 27 years .I am very happy however with the way Black' s dealt with the matter.
