I've been doing "cold water immersion" for a few years. Kev helped me place the practice into a better framework, taking it from a daily box to be ticked to a more holistic experience where each moment was considered and evaluated in terms of my body and mind's reaction to the stress caused. I now understand that rather than a trial to be endured for purely the physical benefits and short term 'high' I can use it as a tool to notice, accept, and refine my reaction to stress.
