The atmosphere and decor were lovely, creating a homey feel, and it’s dog-friendly. However, I was very disappointed with the quality of the food. The steak, priced at £23, was like a thin minute steak. My Buddha bowl was lacking, with hardly any hummus and limp salad. The kids' meal was let down by an inedible piece of garlic bread that seemed microwaved. The fish batter was thick and soggy. I had hoped for a great meal based on the website's illustrations, but this was substandard compared to other places we've visited. Our mid-week meal cost over £120, including drinks and dessert. On a positive note, the gluten-free sticky toffee pudding was delicious, as was the cheesecake and ice cream. It felt awkward to complain since our server was lovely. Unfortunately, I won't return for a meal, but it’s a nice spot for drinks and snacks.
