I had gotten a trial subscription via a content creator's promo code for a free year. After having decided I liked the service but didn't want it to continue next year I cancelled my subscription so that I wouldn't forget about it and it would run out on the renewal date which was on the 26th of October 2026. Shortly after on the 26th of October 2025! a whole year before the supposed renewal date I was silently charged 116 euro on my paypal account with no mention from Brilliant, no notification, no email nothing at all. There's no mention of any cancellation policy on their website or app that I could see and it seems strange to be charged for ending the renewal on a trial subscription anyways. I have contacted their support and hope the issue will be resolved soon but its honestly appalling for an otherwise decent service to pull such scummy tactics.
