As a veteran, I went through a difficult breakup that left me homeless for three months. I reached out to the organization for help with advance rent and a deposit for a flat, hoping to regain stability. Unfortunately, they let me down and denied my request for assistance. Another organization also declined support due to this refusal. I've never faced such a situation before and even offered to repay the funds once I found work, but I was left to manage alone. It's disheartening to see donations not being used to assist veterans in need.

I regret giving such a negative review for this charity because I believe in its mission. I admire our troops, both past and present. I ordered multiple items, including pins and poppies, which was a significant order. Almost all the paper poppies arrived ripped, and the box for my pin was in tatters, as if it had been attacked by an animal. It was frustrating to read about 'courage and care' in the insert when the package was in such poor condition, and the pin itself was bent. If this were any other order, I would have sought a refund. Sending items in such a terrible state for a charitable cause is genuinely disappointing.
I placed an order for two items and also donated, believing strongly in the cause. However, they have not acknowledged my inquiry, and I have yet to receive any items. The delivery service has not received them either! I've reached out to the organization twice, requesting either a replacement or a full refund.
As a disabled military veteran with 14 years of service, I reached out to the organization for help with my small garden, but received none. They sent me numerous email forms filled with incorrect information regarding my service. I became frustrated with these repetitive emails asking for signatures on incorrect details. My experience suggests that the organization is disorganized and unhelpful. I will not contact them again and regret reaching out.
The organization provided essential help to my family when we needed it most. We were stranded abroad with a premature baby and reached out for assistance. Our case worker went above and beyond to secure funding that allowed us to return home. We communicated daily with her for updates. We are incredibly grateful for the support we've received and will always advocate for this charity. The representative's commitment is commendable; thank you for everything.
The overseas branch has been treating individuals poorly, including non-members and members. I raised concerns with the main team weeks ago, expecting a fair review, but instead, I was asked to join a call with the main issue's instigator. This organization seems focused solely on profits, allowing bullying to occur. Others have voiced similar concerns. It appears they are more interested in money than genuinely supporting veterans.
As former RAF veterans, we requested assistance after losing our jobs, but received no response or explanation, just a rejection of our plea for help. Unlike other organizations, they seem to favor certain veterans. I served in significant conflicts and now feel ignored and disrespected. It’s disheartening to see such behavior from an organization that should be supporting all veterans.
What a fantastic day celebrating 80 years of VE Day! The venue was lovely, and the hospitality was exceptional. There were many thoughtful touches, including garden games and gift bags for kids, along with a delicious buffet and cakes. Huge congratulations to the staff and volunteers who made this day memorable!
I strongly advise against funding this charity. As a retired veteran facing homelessness, they have offered me no assistance. I've contacted them every day for the past seven weeks, only to be told someone would get back to me. Yet, I still have not heard anything. It’s embarrassing and disappointing for an organization that claims to support veterans.
