I keep trying to give Brookstone a chance, but every time I walk into their stores or order online, I end up with the same feeling: they’re more focused on looking innovative than actually caring about how their products function in real life. It’s like they design for a showroom, not an actual customer. Their gadgets always seem a bit off, a bit unfinished, like they’re hoping you won’t notice until after the return window closes. And the customer service doesn’t help much either. They respond, sure, but with that cold copy paste tone that makes you feel like you’re the problem for expecting something basic like durability or proper testing. Brookstone isn’t terrible, but there’s this underlying “close enough” attitude that leaves me frustrated every time.
