Budget Direct – extremely poor service
I contacted Budget Direct after another person hit our car with a trolley. We provided a witness statement, the person’s driver’s licence, and their contact details.
Despite this, Budget Direct advised we still have to pay the $1,300 excess. They were not willing to contact the person responsible or even attempt to recover the costs.
Very disappointing experience. We’re being asked to pay for damage that was clearly not our fault.
I would not recommend Budget Direct to anyone. Save your money and go with a more reputable insurer.
