Absolutely awful. We signed up with Simply Lofts who outsourced the work to A Buiders Team. We started work 2018 and filed against them in small claims court in 2019. To summarise our new bathroom ceiling that collapsed due to them not waterproofing the newly installed loft bathroom, and other leaks that we have recently become aware of. We ended up settling outside of court and as part of this settlement they were tasked to fix the leak and make good on the ceiling. Over the last few years I have complained multiple times about yellow marks on the ceiling in the bathroom, and my concern the ceiling is going to collapse again. They kept telling me it was fine and then a month ago it collapsed again. Homeserve came out to view the situation, source and stop the leak, take photos and put together a report. They found fundamental damage within the walls of the loft bathroom where the shower had been leaking for years and soaking wet joists in the ceiling below due to the slow leak.When I contacted Simply Lofts and A Builders Team to ask them to repair it, they said no, so I got an external builder to do the work and our own cost. We have now raised another claim against the in order to get our money reimbursed.This is just one of the issues we have had, but is the biggest one.Anyone looking for a builder should avoid these builders like the plague, you will end up out of pocket with poor workmanship.
