I have been to Burger King locations that were genuinely impressive, fast service, hot food, clean dining room, friendly staff. I have also been to Burger King locations that felt abandoned, slow lines, cold fries, staff that seemed confused by the concept of customers. The gap between the best and worst locations is wider than any other fast food chain I visit regularly and it makes every visit feel like a gamble. Corporate needs to get a handle on what is happening at the franchise level because right now the brand means very little in terms of consistency.
