It was a hostage situation at 124 floors.From the second you enter, you’re funneled into a filthy, sweltering maze of hot, smelly corridors, shoulder to shoulder with hundreds of angry, sweaty people. No airflow. No order. No staff. No explanation. Just an endless shuffle in what feels like a human cattle drive. People are pushing, cutting, screaming at staff that don’t exist, and you’ve paid a premium for the privilege.After nearly three hours of pure chaos, you’re finally shoved into an elevator—only to reach the top and realize there’s nothing to see. Literally. The windows are covered in grime so thick you can barely make out the skyline. And because they keep the lights blazing inside, any chance of seeing the night view is destroyed by glare and dirt. It’s like looking out of a dirty fish tank.And it gets worse. There’s no AC. You’re packed in like sardines, sweating and suffocating at the top of the tallest building in the world. You can’t even move, let alone enjoy it. There’s no staff to help. No flow. No exits. No safety. If a fire broke out, people would die. Full stop. It is a nightmare scenario waiting to happen.Want to leave? Too bad. There’s ONE elevator for thousands of people. The line to get down? Two hours of rage-inducing chaos. People cut in front of you. Others cram into the “fast pass” lane with zero checks. One helpless employee tries to manage what’s clearly a logistical disaster and legal liability. It’s insulting.This is not just bad. It’s dangerous. It’s negligent. It’s a disgrace. The fact that this passes for a tourist attraction is honestly terrifying.Do not waste your time, money, or dignity on this disaster.The whole operation is a joke. Unsafe, disorganized, and completely disrespectful of guests’ time, money, and wellbeing. There is absolutely no excuse for a world-famous landmark to run this poorly.Do yourself a favor—go to literally any restaurant or lounge on a high floor in Dubai instead. You’ll get the same views, sorry- better views, and actually enjoy your time without risking your sanity (or safety). How they’re allowed to operate this way is beyond me.A scam, a safety risk, and an absolute disgrace.
