Wow! I can’t thank Burke & Wills enough for the experience we had this weekend.Like all moves, they’re never without uncertainty or a bit of unsettledness. However, with Burke & Wills on side, we have just had the MOST amazing experience.First off, we had such lovely communication with Laura ahead of the packing and removal service. She was so attentive and flexible around our situation. For a time, we weren’t sure whether it was going to be a straight move or into storage temporarily, and when the latter was confirmed at the eleventh hour, it was no problem at all. The channels of communication were super open, and we were never made to feel like nuisances.Huge thanks to Liam, Matt and Dave, who were an absolute joy throughout packing day and removal day. They took genuine care with the packing, brought such happy energy amidst the chaos of moving, had a laugh with us, and were incredibly sympathetic to our situation (moving into storage and having to find temporary accommodation until we complete on our new place).We were so touched when they thoughtfully asked whether we needed our portable chargers, left us the kettle for final cuppas, and didn’t mind that we had a couple of last loads of washing on the go. Everything was flexible, easy, and never a problem.As they were removing boxes and dismantling furniture the following day, they were so efficient and even told us to “go and get a coffee” and they’d let us know when the madness was over.To top it all off, in the craziness of packing and moving, somehow one of the bags we needed for our temporary accommodation ended up in storage. We called the team as soon as we noticed, and they very kindly brought it back to London for us.Crazily, I’m actually looking forward to our final move into the new place in a couple of weeks because I know exactly who we’ll have on side on the day. It’s such an enormous relief.Thank you, thank you, thank you to the amazing team at Burke & Wills. You’ve made what could have been a super stressful time feel completely manageable.
