Really really bad transportation. The time when a car gets to a point faster than a bus means that something is very wrong with the city. In Switzerland when there is even an accident or a major trafic delay, the bus always has priority to move along and pass through bus specific routes. In cork it is simply unreliable.I understand cities have lots of traffic but the bus being late by 25 mins. More than 3 times a week is just unacceptable. Get the roads fixed. More priority lanes and bus specific lights to properly control trafic.Take a taxi or rent a bike. The bus is just a waste of money and a stress giver.
