Fridge and Phone ordered at the start of December with a delivery date of the 15th of December, well in time for Christmas. Got a notification on the 11th that it will take up to 14 days to deliver. Go to cancel as a) would never have ordered from a company from the UK due to delays and tariffs but this is buydirect.ie so totally misrepresentation. b) These items are a Christmas gift and 14 days from now will be Christmas day.. maybe I should believe in Santa..? Now for the kicker... they have to contact the courier to ensure the freshly dispatched orders can be returned and that will take 3-5 working days and once they receive that confirmation it will take another 3-5 working days to refund me my money- So at best, I will receive my refund on the 22nd of December and the worst just before the New Year. Asked to speak to someone above (I was totally calm as this poor unfortunate is only doing their job) to be put on hold for 20 minutes and told that the Supervisors line is busy.. I bet they are or have given up and started on the Peach Snapp's early...Its pointless really waring people off this company as saps like me forget to read the reviews... Now have to find a few grand right before Crimbo to make wishes come through but not mine... Merry Christmas from Buy It Direct .CO.UK!!!!!!!!
