I used to really enjoy Byron, especially the milkshakes. We were excited to order takeaway from the Bury St Edmunds branch on New Years Eve as a treat but when we got it home two sets of sweet potato fries had been substituted with regular fries which we didn't want and are cheaper than what we'd paid for. The next day I emailed asking for a partial refund and attaching photos of the incorrect items and our receipt. Having received no response, I went into the restaurant on 2 January to ask in person. To be fair they were friendly and apologetic. A lady there told me that she remembered my order and that they'd run out of sweet potato fries hence the substitution but that she "assumed someone would tell me when I collected". No one did. They could and should have called me to make sure I was happy with this before I even came to collect. The manager also apologised and took my email address, explaining he couldn't process the refund himself but that he would organise it to be done remotely straight back to the payment card and that he would email me to confirm everything Monday 5 January. However, I never received anything. After not hearing anything by yesterday afternoon (Wednesday 7 Jan) I called the restaurant but it just kept going to voicemail so I left a message and sent another email. Now it's Thursday 8 Jan and I've still heard nothing by phone or email nor received the refund remotely. I've just called the restaurant again and it's still just going straight to voicemail despite them being open. I am really shocked and disappointed at the lack of care or interest in a loyal customer at every stage of this process following on from a mistake they made. Will definitely never EVER be buying anything there again.

Third consecutive night ordering Vegan Chilli Burger with mac'n'cheese / fries from Liverpool One branch delivered to Raddison Red.Can't get enough. Really tasty vegan burger, with fresh chillies. Mac'n"Cheese grest! Fries are just fries....Night 4...hmmm may end up doing the same. Lovely lovely lovely!
Ordered 2 cheese/bacon burger meals but asked for one without cheese order came with no bacon.cheese on both the buns on the burgers were Rock hard couldn’t bite into it chips were rock hard whole order stone cold and to top it of long hair hanging out of cheese totally unedible
I went to Byron burger after having not been for a long while, I have to say their standards have dropped massively. I was shocked by how poor the experience was. Overpriced food which was very poor quality. The fries were cold & dry, like they had been cooked, left to cool, and then warmed up. I prefer my fries to be hot as if they’re fresh out of the fryer. They didn’t taste like that. The cheese burger was dry and tasteless. The bun was not fresh, it tasted stale. Slow service, which is ridiculous as the restaurant wasn’t that busy. Every request was treated as if it was a big chore by the staff, nothing was offered to improve the dining experience. Adding a 12.5% service charge to the bill was a joke! So I asked to have it deducted from the bill, which the staff obliged. What was most annoying was I left still feeling hungry. Very disappointing! You can find better elsewhere.
I’ve ordered three times in the past weekish. My first order was amazing- probably the best takeout burger I’ve had, and came with fresh tater tots and extra fries, so I recommended to my family. The second order we had a burnt burger which tastes like ass but whatever. The third they took over an hour to deliver, food showed up cool and damp, with missing items. Just seems insanely disorganised if they can’t make food for four without messing it up. Such a disappointment considering the price, I won’t order from here again.
Delivery through Uber eats it took an hour to come and the food was freezing cold and had to be microwaved as the restaurant had given him a TON of other orders to deliver at the same time absolutely fuming do not bother ordering from Walsall Byron
