The owner should really reconsider being in this business. Maybe learn to treat customers as human beings at first? Avoid this place at all costs! The owner (and waitress) simply kick out people for no good reasons, treat them in a very bad way and she still thinks that she is not the rude one.
This was the rudest service I have ever experienced in a café (not even the capital letter is worth it) in 37 years of life on this earth. Never go there. I was never treated like that: nowhere in the world, not even in the most remote and wild towns of different countries. Long version:I was there and my wife could not order anything as she was not feeling good that day, which of course - being a private matter - I did not explain. So I ordered a flat white myself, so she could stay a couple of minutes with me, unwind and relax. At the cashier it was clear I was ordering only for me and of course, like any other place in the world, there was no problem. The guy at the cashier was very nice to me, and he also took the coffee to the table. However, a short after, another waitress came outside and told to my wife she could not stay if she did not order. never mind she was with me and I ordered already. Never mind that the cashier made no problem. So we decided to go for a reimbursement of my drink, which was no problem from their side. The waitress , on top of already treating her like that, told my wife she had been rude for not ordering anything! So she made her leave AND also offended her at the same time. Of course, as she was already feeling unwell, that made her feel even worse. If you scroll down other reviews, you will see it already happened to other people. This is beyond bad service. Perhaps, is there a reason why in a group somebody at the table does not order? is this a ground to treat people like that, if other people in the group are taking something anyway? and what about if I wanted to order more things, as it was my intention anyway? In sum: WORST experience WORLDWIDE and I have lived in so many places around the world. I was never treated that badly in my whole life, and this encompasses a lot of cities, towns, and even villages around the world. avoid avoid avoid. there are so many places in Copenhagen where you are treated with respect.
My husband and I were kicked out, because we only ordered one coffee. (Kicked out by whom we think is the manager - sounds like it from the ghastly reviews on here) Instead of mentioning the rules of the cafe or the option of a to-go coffee, we were offered only to get our money back. The poor girl behind the counter was completely embarrassed (I hope she gets a new job, can only imagine how the staff gets treated), but at least we got our money back.Politeness goes a long way.Go to Sweet Treat or 108 Coffee & Wine Bar in the area, both have great service and coffee!
