Genuinely an amazing service.
I have used a few server hosts but I've never been as satisfied as much as I have been with Bytebuilders. Customer service is great and the hosting itself is amazing.
They also do sales, rarely but they happen.
Ive been using the Minecraft servers. I have a server that lasts for a year with 8 gigs and 200% cpu.
Total price? Less than 100 usd for a year.
I got it on sale too so I got it for even lower.
Ive only had some minor tick issues but thats because I've been overloading my server with my datapacks and it only happens whenever we have 8+ players online. On top of that its heavily modded. Unlike most hosts, this one has been able to handle my shit pretty well.
Hosted a server with them in the past. Keep running into lag and other issues that we shouldn't have been running into with the type of hardware that was supposedly being used. Little to no help was offered until we AFTER we decided to cancel the server and switched to a different server host. Do not recommend. Furthermore, the people running this service seem to be picking petty fights with smaller communities for inquiring about privacy policies, per a recent announcement in their Discord server, which sparked me to finally submit this review to begin with. Very unprofessional and childish.
i've been searching for a good and affordable host for my mc server. I signed up last night because i saw the prices were good and also joined the discord server. after looking at and comparing some other server hosts i decided i would use this one for my mc server, i have come back this morning to find my account has been suspended and i was removed from the discord server. the "resources" and the "help center" pages don't exist. they are on the main page but you cant actually click them. only the "legal" works. and i see no other options for contacting help. i havent even made a server yet or said anything in their discord server. i dont understand whats going on here, but this is too disorganized for me to continue. will be using a different host going forward.

ByteBuilders initially published a post that directly called out a specific Minecraft community while introducing their new privacy policy. However, when I looked into the community they mentioned, there was no reference to ByteBuilders or any related situation. Shortly afterward, the original post was replaced with a revised version that removed the callout entirely. This kind of behavior feels unusual and raises concerns, especially given that it’s tied to something as important as a privacy policy. To be clear, I haven’t personally experienced any issues with their servers; performance has been solid. Still, the questionable conduct alone is enough to make me cautious, and I’d recommend others exercise the same care when considering their services.I’d like to see them act more professionally moving forward. While their servers are affordable and run well, I’m hesitant to support a company that appears to engage in unnecessary callouts, harassment, or other suspicious behavior.Just something to be aware of.Important UpdateAfter reviewing their new privacy policy again, I wanted to note that it was AI-generated. I question the legitimacy of any legal policy that has been generated by an AI instead of one written and reviewed by licensed professionals, and I worry about how inaccurate it is.
