Both the weight and dimensions were grossly overestimated: what should’ve been a 17x11x9cm package weighing 0.12kg was recorded as 25x18x14cm and 1kg. Since I had another parcel of the exact same box size from the same seller in the same consolidated shipment, I provided clear photo evidence, placing the boxes side by side with a ruler to demonstrate the discrepancy.Customer service first claimed packages under 1kg are automatically calculated as 1kg—an explanation that made no sense, given that my other packages were logged accurately. (I was referring to the weight and dimensions of this specific package, not the total consolidated shipment.)Next, they suggested I should request remeasurement if I suspect errors in the future. But how am I supposed to identify these errors before receiving my shipment when Cainiao doesn’t provide photos of the packages?I’ve lost hope of resolving this issue and suspect my money is gone.
