Unfortunately, the cake was delivered on time but was improperly packed in the carry box, causing it to slide off its base and damaging much of the celebratory message. Several decorations were ruined, and one corner was smashed. My advice to anyone considering spending a significant amount on a cake is to look for a small local independent baker instead!
