I’m extremely disappointed with Caker Street. The cake delivered looked nothing like what was shown on their website. The images are highly misleading, and what I received felt like a completely different product. It honestly seems like false advertising.
To make matters worse, when I raised a complaint, the customer service was extremely poor. There was no accountability, no genuine attempt to resolve the issue, and the response felt dismissive rather than helpful.
The taste was equally disappointing. The cake was dry and overloaded with icing, which completely ruined the experience. It is not worth the £70+ spent on this order. It felt like the icing was used to cover up the lack of quality in the cake itself.
Overall, this was a waste of money and a frustrating experience. I would not recommend Caker Street to anyone looking for quality, honesty, or decent customer service.
