We ordered our shutters on 1st November with an estimated delivery of 7th-12th November. We received no tracking from DHL, only CS emails from California Shutters. When I called for an update, I was told there had been a “delivery attempt” and that the shutters were damaged in transit - I don’t believe the delivery attempt ever happened.After multiple calls, we were then told the order had been sent back to the factory for “investigation,” leaving us waiting yet again. We were offered a refund or a priority re-order, and chose to try again.The re-order was no better. Delivery dates moved from 1st December, to 3rd December, to “today”… yet the parcel has sat at the Croydon depot since Monday with no delivery time. DHL now claims our postcode is incorrect, and California Shutters can’t be reached despite calling within their stated opening hours.We still have no shutters, no clear update, and no idea where our £1,300 order actually is.While DHL is partly at fault, California Shutters must take responsibility too. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company and would rather pay more for a reliable service.
