I liked many of the site locations, such as Derwentwater, which is amazing. Culzean Castle is also fantastic. Most of the site staff have been friendly and helpful, some exceptionally so (inc Crowborough) and remembered me from only occasional visits. Sadly a few have been patronising (men), with me being a solo female, and one was downright rude -mind you i haven't seen him on that site since and stayed there a lot this year (Normans Bay). Having toured extensively over the past few years i have spent a fortune on sites all over the UK, and mostly used CCC. Yet when i wanted to move a booking from one site to another closer to home in 2025, due to personal circumstances, head office booking staff said no as it was under 10 days (8). I needed to be nearer home, so after an unsuccessful written appeal, cancelled the booking and lost £25. I should have asked the wardens directly, who I'm sure would have been more helpful. The CCC lost over £300 as i booked a nearer site with the other club. It's also potentially lost a member, as I haven't decided whether to renew membership or not, and lost further income as i haven't booked with them since. Okay it's only £25 i lost, but i no longer feel like a valued member and my loyalty to them was certainly not reciprocated.
