Went to Wolverley Camping, by public transport, on foot - 99.99% go in their motorhome/jeep type vehicles (easy life). Bus driver drops me off at stop he knows for the site. No signs showing where to go, so with several bags (2 heavy) walk way back up slope/road, more pain for my bad feet/legs. Book six nights from 10/8/23.Return on second day see v. large tent facing with wagon opposite set up/tables across, chairs in between: noise of large group including two others from large tent to side of mine. Ask site why can't they have their tent/equipment facing other way - site says they can do what they want....yes, determine what/any my peace/quiet/sleep time. After 2 nights they left.Ground is hard/bobbly not much decent rest/sleep.Checked weather forecast over two days, decide to book 2 more nights. Then find on 2nd night forecast changed so due heavy rain from early morning. As no vehicle to pack things into would only all get wet and me! best to go after one night, ask site to credit for one night for following week, site refuses. Contact Caravanning Club which agrees with Site - must be all the millions they make every year. Supervisor refuses to speak to me. Also inform them about other campers set up facing mine, Club says wouldn't tell campers how to set up. Then informed them of review 06/23 left on Clent Hills campsite - "we were told where to pitch the tents and which way the tent opening had to face". Club has now deleted this entry. Toilet facilities clean. Only one table for having your food, next to lots of kids screaming theirheads off at playground.
