Review Time
I’d never had my nails done before but decided to give Candy Claws a go as they sounded easy to put on and take off with no damage to nails. I glued my first ones on and it was fiddly to do but they did look wonderful. Very impressed. However when I wanted to remove them it was awful. I used the oil I purchased, waited, then soaked my fingers in hot soapy water. So much for 15 mins or so. It took me 1 1/2 hours to finally be able to slowly prise them off with continued soaking and drops of oil. In the end my own nails were so soft from the soaking, a couple of the candy claws were damaged trying to remove them. The glue is like bad super glue and made a mess of my nails and fingers. I’ll have to return them all as my own nails wouldn’t stand up to another trauma. Surprised I didn’t see anyone else having issues but surely Candy Claws would know about it.
I loves these nails. They last at least three weeks for me. I'm a nail biter and so I get the extra short plus the brush on glue. Couple of things tho... they do not take 10 minutes to put on! 30 minutes at least with proper nail prep. It would be helpful if the thumb nails weren't so long!
Ordered Candy Claws , prompt and fast delivery. Followed instructions step by step and looking at the nails on application they look like had just come back from salon. 5 days down and not a problem , My hands are in warm water many times a day and not a lift as of yet . Am very happy on the feel and the look , so natural Love them . Best press ons l have ever had . Feel like salon nails 💅
Absolutely obsessed with Candy Claws!They still take me a little time to apply and remove, but now that I’ve figured out the prep properly, I can get them to last 3 weeks. By the 2-week mark, there is some visible growth (which is expected), but I can decide whether to put up with that look for another week or refresh them depending on what I’ve got on that weekend.I’m still working on removing them without damaging my natural nails—it's really just the tips that take a hit, but since that’s the part that grows out, I just trim them off next time. The nails themselves stay in great condition the whole time—no chipping, no breakage when I apply them right.Honestly, I’ll never go back to the salon. These have completely won me over!
I bought these for a long overseas trip as I can never find a nail technician I trust in random countries and have ruined my nails. I found these to be a fantastic solution. The glue stickers seem easier than the glue. The nails stayed in well and were reasonable to get off with the magic remover, it does take a while though. The actual glue and removal with water was messy so use the stickers and the glue remover. I bought 4 different sets and have enjoyed them all.
Love them! I have repurchased multiple times now. For a first time mother, these are game changers! I put on new nails whilst my baby is sleeping which is so much better than sitting in a nail salon. I really only want them for 2 weeks at a time. If a few come off after 2 weeks I just re-stick them on and they last for another 2 weeks. I have reused sets before but not more than twice. These are honestly a game changer for me!
I have used several sets from Candy Claws, and they are great! As someone who rarely glam up nails, these press-ons are a great option. The glue is really strong, and it lasted 3 week,s but I prefer the adhesive tabs since it's easier to remove.
Order 2 sets from candy claws Company states they last 2 weeks and don’t damage your nails For me this was far from the truth applied a full set followed instructions to a T and they fell off with in a few hours.Left my nails damaged brittle and left a red stain wanted to give candy claws a fair trial so re prepped my nails and applied a full set again and same thing happened Pretty disappointed wish I just paid a little extra and went to a salon my nails look horrible
