SHOCKING and worst experience EVER with a driver , he was rude , argumentative and intimidating on my special needs Grandson's PROM night , his once in a lifetime SPECIAL night RUINED by this unprofessional and highly intimidating driver who left me in TEARS on the most special night of our lives!!!He just kept unnecessarily arguing with me and arguing with me and NOT listening to where I wanted to go , kept refusing to take the address over and over and said ''WE will 'find it' when we get to the area'' ( he did NOT actually know where the sports centre was himself )NO ''we'' would not find it as I had only been there once that day to drop my Grandson off at the venue ( with a lovely driver ) and I would NOT recognise the roads and remember the correct journey and I told him that but he would not listen to me NOR take the address which in the end the operator gave him and he listened to HER and took it from her after reducing me to tears on this VERY SPECIAL NIGHT!!THEN one of the operators tried to get me to ''close my eyes'' for her to try and do some sort of relaxation technique on me!Like I was in the WRONG for being SO UPSET by this rude , abrupt and completely disrespectful driver who had NO personable customer service skills whatsoever and I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT NEED an operator on the phone who is a stranger to me telling me to ''close my eyes'' to go through some sort of calming technique with her like she is my self appointed therapist , NO thank youI NEED professional drivers and staff , that is all , and I do NOT need to be told to shut my eyes and do a calming exercise with someone which made me feel much WORSE and guilty for even being so upset after my worst minicab journey ever , on PROM night , so decided to get an Uber home , which made me feel MUCH BETTER and I was actually perfectly CALM when collecting my Grandson once I had cancelled and absolutely got RID of Cannon cars FOR GOOD and had decided for us to simply get an UBER home , which went very smoothly and without problem thank you :-) :-)NEVER again will I use Cannon Cars and this is our forever home and I would have used them forever if they used better staffAbsolutely unacceptable and shocking INCLUDING being told to ''close my eyes'' by the operator so she could do a calming exercise with ME like it was my fault for actually being so upset and worried that I was going to be LATE to pick my Grandson up from his prom at this rate or even have the driver refuse take me at ALL which is the ''threatening point'' HE WAS ACTUALLY AT as he had ALL of the power and he had remained static for absolutely AGES and would NOT LISTEN to me and rudely argued and argued with me for no reason and ended up traumatising me and when we got to the venue he also said he CANNOT DO the wait and return I had BOOKED him for ''if I am too long'' and that he will then just ''go'' and they would have to ''send someone else'' so how insecure is THAT that he ''may or may not'' still even BE there when I came out of the venue after 10pm at night with my SEN Grandson for us to be potentially STRANDED , so NO I cancelled him and then his replacement driver from Cannon as had lost ALL faith in them by then and perhaps maybe do that ''calming technique'' on your RUDE AND ABUSIVE DRIVER BEFORE he interacts so obstructively , sharply and intimidatingly with his customers! :-(ThanksThe 2nd star was just for some of the other PREVIOUS lovely drivers and operating staff , including the lovely driver who TOOK my Grandson and I TO the prom venue and seamlessly TOOK the address I gave him and actually therefore thankfully got the both of us THERE so absolutely 100% perfectly! :-)( P.S I will NOT be calling a manager so please do not respond to this review nor ask me to , will ABSOLUTELY 100% be going elsewhere and the matter is over as an Uber thankfully saved the day and got us home at least and much more professionally , ta )
