I’m really disappointed with how CapCut presents its pricing.
On your official page, you clearly state that the yearly plan costs $179.99/year, which is a reasonable and competitive price for an individual user. However, when I actually try to purchase the plan, I’m being charged 6990 CZK (~$317/year).
That’s not a small difference — it’s almost double the advertised price.
This feels misleading and unfair. If pricing varies by region, it should be clearly stated on the page. Right now, it creates false expectations and wastes users’ time.
I also contacted CapCut support about this issue, but instead of providing a clear explanation or solution, they only gave vague responses and excuses without actually addressing the problem.
As a user, I don’t understand why I should pay significantly more than the price you publicly promote.
Please either:
fix the pricing on your website, or
clearly explain the regional differences before users reach checkout.
Otherwise, this comes across as deceptive pricing practice.
