Unable to get the deposit numbers in time and not wanting to wait for a check to arrive, I opted for the "prepaid card" option. The website fails to clearly explain this, but it strongly suggests it's just another way to receive payment. Only after activating it did I discover it could only be used for online purchases, and they conveniently stated they "couldn't revoke it." The reason this review gets 2 stars instead of 1 is that I eventually managed to use it to pay my bill on the company's website, but that wasn't due to the seller's guidance. I had to dig around and find a suggestion on Reddit that helped. Although I reached out to their customer support because I was pressed for time, they merely offered the routine "is there anything else I can assist you with" before ending the call. When I contacted them on social media to explain my situation, they ghosted me after realizing the issue. I expressed my dissatisfaction to each team I spoke with, but it was an incredibly frustrating experience. On the positive side, I did manage to get the "money" I needed in the end. On the downside, the process was highly inefficient, and if circumstances had been slightly different, like if that company didn’t allow online payments, I would have been in serious trouble due to their misleading payment option. Looking ahead, if I ever need to sell a gift card again, I genuinely question whether I should stick with what I know or explore other options. I can't say for sure if it would have been smoother with a competitor. All I know is that despite the outcome, this is not an experience I want to go through again.
