Incompetent planning and management of city affairs. My property is on Main Cowbridge Road East. 4 Years ago, traffic used to flow fluently. Without any regards of road users, Road congestions are created intentionally by using unnecessary long traffic signal delays. Cardiff council made plans to waste tax payers money on wasted projects which are useless and create hassles for residents. Contracts are awarded to resurfac roads which were in good conditions and of good quality. Now after two years, these are in terrible state of repair and not maintained. Surface water does not flow and even after some continous rain gutters get blocked and create puddles all across the road. Highway maintenance takes ages to react to any complaint. Cardiff council conducts consultations in the name only, disregards any concerns the residents have and does whatever they want to do and are completely out of touch with the reality.
